I Spent 30 Years Performing - Now I Help You Dance Your Way
in Life & Business

Andrea "The Dancing Economist"

From small-town Hungary to Malaysia, from economist to Dancing Economist, from performing to embodying, this is the story of how I stopped dancing someone else's choreography and started dancing my own.

Small Town, Double Life

How I went from living someone else's choreography to guiding others to dance their own way

The Double Life: Economist by Day, Dancer by Night

I'm from a small town in Hungary with less than 20,000 people.

At age 6, I fell in love with dance. By age 20, I was winning competitions, teaching dance, leading a dance association, and running my own dance school in Budapest.

But here's what made it complicated:

I also went to business school. Studied Economics. Bank Management. Stock Exchange. (Yes, really.)

For 10+ years, I worked 8am-6pm at 4 different companies, then rushed to dance classes, lessons, rehearsals. Competitions on weekends.

I was maintaining two lives. Succeeding at both.

Dying inside.

The Wedding Wake-Up

I got so far into pleasing others that I married to make everyone and I really thought it was all real.

The next morning after my beautiful wedding, I woke up and knew: "This is not my choreography."

I haven't been living MY life. I was dancing a fake dance without realizing it.

This isn't a good feeling. It's heavy with guilt, regret, pain, depression. You feel lost. Like you've been underwater for 30 years.

I got divorced. I started searching for answers.

Four Restarts

The only thing I knew: I love dancing. When I'm on the dance floor, I'm not lying to myself. I am ME.

Then life said: "You think you've got it? Here's another test."

I had to move to the other side of the world,Malaysia.

Left behind my family, friends, dog, dance school, job, independence.

Third time starting over. This time in Southeast Asia.

It took me 8 years to climb out of that valley.

But this time, I knew my purpose. I knew where I was heading.

This time, I was dancing MY choreography.

Finding MY Propassion

Within 6 years in Malaysia, I:

  • Created a new dance community (Passion: DancewithMeAsia.com)

  • Trained as Transformation Coach & Art Therapist Life Coach

  • Founded my own Event company (Profession)

  • Started Global Empowerment Hub (Compassion: 200+ experts, 220 hours free content)

  • Worked as event plammer, creative leader, strategic consultant

I found my PROPASSION.

I coined that word because nothing else captured what I'd created:

Propassion = Passion + Profession + Compassion

Not choosing between them. Integrating them.

And with that integration came my identity: The Dancing Economist.

What drives everything I do and every program I create

My Promise to You

  • I will never judge where you are. I've been the sleepwalker, the code-switcher, the performer, the lost one.

  • I will never offer theory. Everything I teach, I've lived first, tested on myself, refined through clients.

  • I will never let you settle for passion OR profession. We're going for Propassion with Compassion, the integration that's sustainable.

  • I will never make it easy, but I will make it possible. Transformation is hard. But with frameworks, partnership, and proof, it's achievable.

Ready to Stop Dancing Someone Else's Choreography?

I'm here to help you integrate and thrive.
